Could I Someday Have a Playback of my Prep Musings?

Tonight, my chest deflated after having read this.

Not that i resent being what i've become now. It's just something i wish i could go back to. So that i could be a better playground mate to little angels. Like Himig.

"I love child things because there’s so much mystery when you’re a child.
When you’re a child, something as simple as a tree doesn’t make sense.
You see it in the distance and it looks small, but as you go closer, it seems to grow —
you haven’t got a handle on the rules when you’re a child.
We think we understand the rules when we become adults
but what we really experienced is a narrowing of the imagination."

Digital playgrounds fail to give children pure joy. They need space. Real space. To run is real fun.

Got to be environmental & physical... over digital. Time can break sweats real good... as slow as a Kurosawa flick, as drooling as a guitar lick.
(I don't think i could make my daughter swing to a digital string.)

Oh well. I gotta "run"...
